FULL-SCALE WAR

War Chronicles is a series of reports covering the events and stories of russia’s full-scale invasion into Ukraine. Each story is centered at a person who faced the russian aggression and now attempts to act, while coping either with personal loss or a threat to a whole circle of people. This is often the case for volunteers, doctors, serviceman and servicewoman. The War Chronicles is an attempt to document and mold into expressions the experience and space landscapes which underwent destruction due to the strikes of the russian aggression. When creating reports we targeted the foreign audience that learns of the war in Ukraine mostly from the media. Via the artistic product we seek to represent the experiences of war in a way that does not simply inform the audience, but is also emotionally appealing and mobilizes empathy.
